Jim Kelley (owner)

Jim is extremely hands-on with his business and very passionate about horticulture, quality of craftsmanship, exceeding customer expectations, and staying up-to-date on current landscaping materials and methods. Jim is involved in all components of the business from project management, maintenance, estimating, and consultation. He is Bluestone's only landscape designer. He will work directly with you through each phase of your project or consultation.

Qualifications:
• Licensed, Bonded, and Insured Landscape Contractor
• over 20 years experience managing residential and commercial landscape crews, servicing maintenance accounts, and designing functional landscapes throughout California – over 10 years locally.
• California Landscape Contractor's Association member (CLCA)
• Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) and Test Judge
• Horticultural Science Bachelor's degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo (founder and president of Landscape Industry Club)
• Habitat Restoration minor from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo

Jordan Stull-Barnes (foreman)

Jordan Stull-Barnes is an outstanding asset to Bluestone Landscapes. His gained knowledge and mastery of carpentry, irrigation, lighting, grading, equipment operation, specialty plant care, and stonework are showcased daily on all construction projects. Jordan also leads all facets of landscape maintenance. He has great attention-to-detail and is an excellent person to work with!

Alaina F. Kelley

Alaina Kelley is a full time teacher at a local school and works part-time with Bluestone Landscapes. She is responsible for website design, various advertising, and general office management as needed. She holds an Earth Science Bachelor’s degree with minors in Soil Science and English from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Martin Magneson

Martin Magneson is an excellent crew member with Bluestone Landscapes. He is an outdoor enthusiast with a strong work ethic. Martin is very dependable, puts a lot of effort into everything he does, and cares about work quality. Martin holds a Criminology Bachelor’s degree from Montana State.
